Purposeful Pondering

Am I laying down because I have no fight in me
Or is my brilliance losing its vibrancy?
Whatever happened to the fight in me?
The one that demanded purity and a life lived righteously---
I need an enlightening.
The moments are short and I'm filled with despondency,
Lost in the trappings that I submit to mindlessly---
Whatever happened to the kinder me, gentle, yet focused tirelessly,
Never allowing depression and weakness to tower over me;
Never relinquishing my power
And now in the hour of my most needed strength,
I cower---asking God where is my faith in Him?
How did I lose it and stray so far from Him?
Where did I go that I started to not see him clearly
Or hear His voice anymore?
Why is it so hard to even desire to relinquish those things that I once abhorred?
Is my asking in vain?
Does my Father really feel the pain
---that I feel?
Does he see my hurt masked in pride and self-worth,
all while killing my body w/ the poisons that consume the dirt?
I don't know where I am, but I know that I don't want to be here
or give up on the dreams that sear my heart like a razor that can not be removed---I'm losing my tread and my pace is lagging, my soul and spirit are calling for redemption but my actions are so far extended---
What is it that has kept me in this deficit, so needy and missing,
fragmented w/ plenty indention's?---hurt so much until I struggle w/ connecting to the LOVE of my heart---
Where are you first LOVE; You elusive Spirit of wonder and endless salvation?
Where have you gone?
Or have I just wandered so far from you until I don't remember my way back home?
I'm broken and wounded, lost and bruised, neglected and misused;
so perforated and torn, rejection and displaced;
caught wearing so many mask that I don't know which one is my true face.
Or is my brilliance losing its vibrancy?
Whatever happened to the fight in me?
The one that demanded purity and a life lived righteously---
I need an enlightening.

Where are the pastors who said they would pray,
The elders who said they would lay---hands on,
The parents who promised to guide,
The siblings with whom I could confide,
The friends who said they would ride,
The spouses who vowed love for life,
The children whose innocence knew no crime---and where are YOU?
At the time when I feel the weakest, are you there?
Are you still interested in the number of my hairs,
The length of my days,
or the exit to my life's maze?
Am I still fearfully and wonderfully MADE---
In your image even when I break your commandments
And allow fear to make me timid?
What's my sin limit?
Has my grace run out or do I have a minute?
All I know is that I don't want to imagine life without you,
Breathing w/o your Spirit,
Seeing without your vision,
Or being hidden from the place where I was first commissioned.
The cry of my heart wants you close again, so I'm going to return to the closest place, I know----
I'm seeking your hand until I see your face;
The elders who said they would lay---hands on,
The parents who promised to guide,
The siblings with whom I could confide,
The friends who said they would ride,
The spouses who vowed love for life,
The children whose innocence knew no crime---and where are YOU?

The cry of my heart wants you close again, so I'm going to return to the closest place, I know----
I'm seeking your hand until I see your face;
I'm yearning to hold your hand of provision;
I'm hoping that you will reach for me and you listen.
I'm hoping that you will reach for me and you listen.
Please, hear my cry oh Father,
And give ear to the pondering heart of your Prodigal Son;
And "My mouth will show forth Your praise" and
"I will teach transgressors Your ways,
And sinners shall be converted to You."
Redeem me, that my PURPOSE may be
secure in YOU.

Personal Quote: 05/13/2010
I must say that the hardest process in my life comes from truly aligning my lifestyle to God's way of doing things...In my heart I desire significance so much more than success and character is so much more important than comfort.

Creativity is composed of more of a calculated approach to an idea, rather than a haphazardly dramatized and emotionally channeled wave of inspiration.---D.Sherow, Jr

BIG DREAMS, GREAT VISION!!!!
We all desire to have certain levels of success in our lives; however, sometimes life situations tend to master us and we lose ourselves in the day-to-day shuffle of survival. To those who have BIG DREAMS; DREAMS that have taken a back-seat to work, family, friends, stress, responsibilities and extra-curricular activities, I dare you to DREAM again! I dare you reach into the background of your vividly painted life and pull those hidden dreams into your current foreground. I dare you appropriate thirty-minutes of your day to working on your DREAM. I, most importantly, dare you to ask God to expand your vision and enlarge your tent, so that you can see in the reality of LIVING and embrace the view of Heaven.
A great friend of mine, Minister Ashley Woodberry, said one of the most profound things to me one day. He said, "A dream is awesome until you wake up. A vision will not let you sleep!" Your every success in life is centered around your individual focus and determination to fulfil whatever goal you have set before you. There are three principles that I hold true to and five focus-filled statements that I meditate on in order to project the realm of unlimited success that is available for me and others. These are the "mantra's" that help me stay balances as I pursue my goals and I hope that they do the same for you:
Principles
(1) All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty. Proverbs 14:23 SAY LITTLE, DO BIG!!!!!
(2) Discipline & Obedience will take you to your DESTINY!!!
(3) Wealth amounts to the abundance of overflowing resources available and in operation in every area of your life. So don't overwork to be rich; because of your understanding know when to cease!
Focus-filled Statements
(1) Though you may have many DREAMS or VISIONS, focus on one goal at a time. Make projects small and attainable and with each success the next goal becomes that much easier to accomplish.
(2) Live in a bubble of constant positive reinforcement. Defuse all negativity!!! There is no goal or dream too BIG or insurmountable! But you MUST put in the work to in turn see the profit!
(3) Nothing is beyond, above or beneath your reach! If the power of life and death are held in the things you say, then the power of your words will orchestrate your DESTINY!
(4) Recreate your life by speaking the positive potential and living the exceptional life style that you were created to live.
(5) Create a product and brand that is undeniable (YOU), then fully and utterly engross yourself in that product and the vision for its continual success and growth will flourish.
This day is the greatest day that you have to celebrate, because it is the NOW and the PRESENT and these MOMENTS of your existence that will never be relived. Challenge yourself to focus on LIVING and not just existing. Give thanks to God for this new moment of mercy and reflect of these following words:
~ Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.
M.K. Ghandi
~ So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. Let Your work appear to Your servants, And Your Glory to their children. And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us, And establish the work of our hands for us; Yes establish the work of our hands.
Psalm 90:12;16-17
